Andrew Lillis
Admitted to practice in New York, Ireland and England & Wales, Andrew is originally from Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. After graduating with a law degree from University College Dublin, Andrew obtained a Masters Degree in Chinese Law from the University of Hong Kong. Following an internship with the Ministry of Aviation, Communications and Meteorology in the Solomon Islands, Andrew was hired as foreign legal counsel by one of China's largest law firms in Beijing, where he represented a broad array of clients from large multinationals to international organizations.
Andrew subsequently worked as a Staff Attorney for the Hong Kong Refugee Advice Center, before migrating to in-house roles in the biotechnology and communications fields in Hong Kong. In 2012 Andrew moved to New York where he now practices corporate and commercial law, assisting foreign and domestic companies with U.S. legal issues, including intellectual property, taxation, import/export, immigration, labor/employment, corporate governance and commercial agreement drafting. In addition to serving as Secretary of the Irish American Bar Association of New York, Andrew volunteers as a pro bono attorney for Immigration Equality.
